1979 - Dekalb Chapter - Scholarship Fundraiser

A Past To Cherish! A Future To Fulfill! The ASUNAA DeKalb County Area Alumni Chapter has created the 1979 Scholarship Fundraiser to celebrate and honor the 14 founding members and 42 years of service.Throughout our chapter's history, we have financially supported Albany State University students through awarding our local high school student scholarship and the Ruby Crews Scholarship. Please consider making a tax deductible donation of $19.79 monthly or give what you're able so we can continue our legacy of giving and support.

High School Senior Scholarships

The ASU DeKalb County Area Alumni Association (DCAAA) awards scholarships to DeKalb County and Metro Atlanta high school students who will attend Albany State University. DCAAA grants scholarships annually based on merit and need. The purpose is to provide an opportunity for qualifying and deserving students to pursue their College education at ASU. The DCAAA Chapter is a non-profit organization. It has served DeKalb County and the Metro Atlanta area for over 45 years.

Ruby Dean Hall Crews Scholarship

The Ruby Dean Hall Crews Scholarship is named for a distinguished member of National and the DeKalb County Area Alumni Association. She is a consistent supporter of Albany State and its' auxiliaries. The Chapter recognizes Ruby for years of tireless work for ASU by honoring her with this scholarship in her name. Ruby Dean Hall Crews is a 1958 graduate of Albany State.The ASU DeKalb County awards scholarships to DeKalb County and Metro Atlanta high school students who will attend ASU These scholarships are non-renewable and start at $500.00-1000.00 based on merit and need. The Chapter has served DeKalb County for over 30 years.If you are a MEMBER, please log in before making your donation. Non-Members paying by CREDIT CARD will be charged a convenience fee. There is no fee if paying by cash or check!
