Several ASU DeKalb members attended.

ASU DeKalb members volunteered with the Atlanta HBCU Alliance on Sunday, June 22, 2014.  Members handed out credentials for
the Alliance's 5k & 10k Race and Walk to be held on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Grant Park in Atlanta, GA.
This volunteerism effort helps funds scholarships for Albany State University.

More than 100 runners/walkers are registered for ASU!

Also on Sunday, June 22, 2014, members of the ASU DeKalb Scholarship Committee attended the Ramsessional that was held in Lithonia.
ASU DeKalb is proud to say that it had a number of students that were accepted to ASU,
several brought in additional paperwork that was needed, with at least one graduate student also attending.
Parents and guardians accompanied the students.  ASU DeKalb members shared their college experiences with those in attendance.

Here is an excerpt from an email that was forwarded to Admissions and Recruitment leaders at ASU from the recruiter for the Atlanta region Mr. Ronald Cetoute:
"?I don't usually give much recognition via email, but I felt it was necessary for this occasion.
I had the opportunity to work a SUCCESSFUL Ramsessional with the Dekalb Area Alumni Chapter of ASU.
The chapter really went above and beyond to make sure the event went well on such short notice.?"
